Who these terms apply to

These terms apply when you use the 247ChatMate website, request a setup pack, download a trial build, use our guides, or use/purchase access to the 247ChatMate plugin or related services. “We”, “us” and “our” means 247ChatMate, using the contact details published on this website. “You” means the visitor, trial user, customer, agency, freelancer, business owner or person using the service.

What 247ChatMate is

247ChatMate is a website lead-capture and WhatsApp handoff product for service businesses. It helps visitors choose a reason for contact, provide useful details, and continue through WhatsApp or a related follow-up route. It is not a replacement for your own operations, sales process, legal compliance, data protection process or professional advice.

WhatsApp and Meta disclaimer

247ChatMate is not WhatsApp, is not Meta, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp names, marks and services belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for your own WhatsApp account, WhatsApp Business account, phone number, messaging practices and compliance with WhatsApp/Meta terms.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you install, configure and use 247ChatMate on your website. This includes your business details, enquiry categories, visitor button labels, lead routing, customer communications, privacy notices, cookie consent, website policies and compliance with laws that apply to your business.

• Keep your business and contact details accurate.
• Only use phone numbers, emails and WhatsApp accounts you are authorised to use.
• Reply lawfully, professionally and without spam or misleading messages.
• Check that your own website privacy policy, cookie policy and consent tools are appropriate.
• Make sure your use of customer information is lawful and proportionate.

Setup packs, guides and downloads

Setup packs, PDFs, checklists, downloads and guidance are provided to help you test, install and understand 247ChatMate. They may change over time. Always use the latest approved public download route supplied by 247ChatMate. The public trial download is separate from any private remote updater package or internal test feed.

Trials, beta access and changes

Trial and beta access may be limited, changed, withdrawn, paused or replaced. Features may be incomplete, experimental or still being tested. During beta or trial periods, support is best-effort and we may request feedback, bug reports or screenshots.

Agencies and client relationships

If you are an agency, freelancer or web designer using 247ChatMate for a client, you are responsible for your client relationship, client permissions, setup details, billing arrangement, website access and client communications. Agency-managed clients remain the agency’s clients. Where a client is clearly agency-managed, 247ChatMate will aim to communicate through or with the agency unless the client independently contacts us, the agency relationship ends, or there is a support, security, billing, legal or compliance reason.

Availability, liability and contact

We aim to keep the website, download pages and product available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Third-party services including hosting, WordPress, email delivery, WhatsApp and Meta may change or fail outside our control.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, 247ChatMate is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, missed leads, lost data, business interruption, third-party failures, incorrect setup, website conflicts or misuse. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
